Partnering up with Minneapolis Craft Market and Sociable Cider Werks - Plaid Friday, Small Business Saturday and Sunday is an open-air locally focused, cool alternative to the commercial "big box" madness that is Black Friday. This is where the holidays get good! This is F&E's third year hanging out here, and it is Sociables 7th Annual Anniversary Party. Along with the retail rigors, the massive party includes tapping unique ciders on the hour and live music throughout the day. This is one big party, and we've been blown away with with the customer numbers. We anticipate lots of returning vendors, and even more new ones!

This is an open-air marketplace. Open to farmers (produce, protein, plant and value-add), packaged food producers, cottage foods, food trucks, ready-to-eat food makers, nonprofits, and promotional sponsors. All artisan vendors are organized by Minneapolis Craft Market. All food vendors are organized by F&E. 

 

Each of the retail partners (Sociable Cider Werks, F&E and Mnpls Craft Market) will take an active role in promoting the event to their audiences, with dedicated marketing dollars. 

What is included in the stall fee?

The stall fee includes the following: 

  • Five-hour market stall rental (12PM - 5PM)

 Vendors should plan to bring: 

  • Tent, tables and weights are required for this outdoor event

  • Merchandising items

  • Sign clearly listing your business name

  • Compostable beverage and food wares are required by the City of Mpls for sampling and serving

  • Packaging materials and bags for sales

  • Checkout items (change float, card reader, receipt paper, etc)

  • A copy of your food vendor permit

  • Electricity is limited. Generators are encouraged for those with extraordinary needs

  • 100ft of commercial quality extension cords, should electricity be required

  • Handwashing station filled with warm water if you plan to sample foods

  • All vendor trash must be carried out, along with gray water - no trash or water will be deposited on site

 

Logistics are provided on the F&E website a few days prior to the market.
