LAST MINUTE MARKETS

Plate & Parcel Holiday Market is offering up Last Minute Markets! This is a pre-holiday market opportunity hosted indoors the day before Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve. These bustling, festive quick shop pop-ups cater to customers buying ingredients and pre-made foods; along with those seeking last minute local gifts or stocking stuffers. This is also ideal for vendors that have conducted pre-sales, taken online orders or are seeking a customer pick up opportunity. 

DATE: Wednesday, November 27 \ 1PM to 5PM & Monday, December 23  \ 1PM to 5PM

 

LOCATION: Indoors at Wagner's Greenhouse, 6024 Penn Ave S, Minneapolis, 55419

Perfect for farmers (produce and proteins, value added), caterers, cottage and packaged food makers. We welcome food trucks and ready-to-eat vendors as well. 

 

IDEAL FOR VENDORS:

  • selling packaged foods, produce or proteins ideal for holiday dinner making.

  • featuring last minute gift buying opportunities. 

  • selling take and bake catered foods specific to holiday meal kits and dining.

  • who've conducted pre-orders or online sales seeking a high-energy, indoor pick-up location for their customers, with ample parking.

OTHER CORRESPONDING MARKET DATES: 

  • Plate & Parcel's weekend market will host "Pre-Order Promotions" for Saturday, Nov. 16, Sunday, Nov. 17 and Saturday, Dec. 7 and Sunday, Dec. 8. These are ideal for vendors to sample and take pre-orders. The Last Minute Markets are a follow up to these days, and a terrific opportunity for customers pick up and up sales.

  • There is no requirement to participate in the weekend Pre-Order days, but should you want to - register here. 

  • These markets are not exclusive to each other, and there is no need to sell at both. Pick one or more dates. You select the dates right for your business.

BENEFITS: 

  • An already known audience, as promotion is via the ongoing Plate & Parcel Holiday Markets. 

  • This is one of the few times we offer double stalls (20'), e.g. think about promoting this market opportunity as a pop-up for both pre-order pick up and additional sales.

  • Stall fees are $45 for all vendors, with $80 for a double stall.

Registration is for approved F&E food vendors only. Stalls are limited, and space will sell out. 

 

The stall fee includes the following: 

  • Market stall rental

 Vendors should plan to bring: 

  • 6' or less size table

  • Single stalls are 6' x 6' in most cases. Double stalls are 12' x 6'. 

  • Merchandising items

  • Sign clearly listing your business name

  • Compostable beverage and food wares are required by the City of Mpls for sampling and serving

  • Packaging materials and bags for sales

  • Checkout items (change float, card reader, receipt paper, etc)

  • Your food vendor permit

  • 100ft of commercial quality extension cords should electricity be required

  • Hand washing station if sampling foods
