F&E's CSA Farmer Fair 

efarmony: date your grocer, marry a farmer.

TUESDAY, APRIL 7, 4:00PM to 8:00PM \ Able Seedhouse Brewery & Taproom, NE MPLS

Online dating sites, like eharmony.com, help people making new romantic connections. With efarmony we are turning this concept on its ear. No, this isn't speed dating for single farmers. Instead, this is F&E's new-fangled, post-modern Community Supported Agriculture Fair

Not only are we talking up the tried-and-true values of direct purchasing and early-season investments, but we are, also, excited to bring in those farms with that little extra something. efarmony is ideal for meeting and greeting new customers, beefing up your email list, and sharing a beer with those long-time Twin Cities customers. 

 

This market is perfect for those farmers:

  • providing the seasonal little or big CSA box.

  • serving up subscriptions to farmstead proteins, plants, cheeses, or other products. 

  • hosting a farmstay or glamping getaway. 

  • offering U-Pick, in-the-field dinners or pizza nights. 

Stall fees are discounted at $40, and capped at 20 total vendors. Deadline to register is Friday, March 6.

PROMOTION Each of the partners (Able, F&E & RED Market) will take an active role in promoting markets to their audiences, with dedicated marketing dollars. F&E encourages vendors to promote their participation often and much.

Vendors provide their own: 

  • Tables

  • Merchandising items

  • Sign clearly listing your business name

  • Compostable beverage and food wares are required by the City of Mpls for sampling and serving

  • Packaging materials and bags for sales

  • Seating

  • Cart for load in/load out

  • Checkout items (change float, card reader, receipt paper, etc)

  • Should electricity be required, at least 100ft of commercial quality extension cords (electricity is limited)

  • If you sample foods, a MN state approved hand washing set up is required. No exceptions. 

  • Hot water must be brought from home, and has limited availability on site.

+ All stalls are 6'x4'.

+ Load in begins at 2PM. 

+ Upon submission of this registration form, your registration dates will be reviewed and should we have any questions or conflicts we will reach out to you. 

If you do not hear from us - all your dates have been accepted. Please note this date on your calendar. 

+ Vendor stall fees are not reimbursable, nor transferable. Please consider this before registering. 

+ Payment of stall fees is required at the time of registration. Registrations submitted without the payment of fees will be cancelled.

Logistical details will be made available online a few days before the market.

CANCELLATIONS 

Should pandemic health related concerns curtail or cancel our markets, all attempts will be made to reschedule dates later in 2020. Stall fees will be honored at the time of rescheduling. Unfortunately, we don't reimburse stall fees.
