F&E APPLICATION \ We take you seriously, and our application helps us know you. We don't accept every farmer, maker or food truck that comes to us. This is real folks, and we hope you'll take the journey with us. 

 

APPLICATION REQUIRES:

  • To submit your application means you have ready: 

    • Certificate of insurance listing Frank & Ernest Foods (2036 Highland Pkwy, St. Paul, MN 55116) as a "certificate holder." 

    • Permit from the City of Minneapolis or the State of Minnesota.

    • MN ST-19 Tax Form.

    • Description of your business and products, along with imagery. 

    • Facebook and Instagram profiles. 

    • A credit card to pay the $30 annual fee. 

F&E APPLICATION TO SELL

In order to sell online, we require businesses to first apply. Businesses are required to re-apply every year, as permits, insurance and tax forms must be re-filed annually. 

APPLICATION IS EASY!

As you get to know us - we want to get to know you! With our from below, please provide details about your business and what you plan to promote or to sell with us, along with your website info, social media profiles and any imagery that best describes what you do.

F&E APPLICANTS ARE

  • Any Minnesota, Iowa or Wisconsin farmer or rancher that grows produce, plants or proteins.

  • Farmer co-operatives or food hubs welcome.

  • Permitted through the City of Minneapolis or the State of Minnesota

  • Health and body product makers

  • Pet food makers

  • Licensed caterers

  • Cottage food makers permitted by the MN Department of Agriculture. 

  • Packaged food or beverages permitted by the State of MN, MN Department of Agriculture and or by the City of Minneapolis

  • Cookbook Authors

  • Food Trucks Interested in Selling in Linden Hills Village

BEFORE APPLYING WITH US

All members before applying with us, are required to submit documents to conform to city ordinances and state laws. These three forms are: MN ST 19 tax form, a city/state approved food permit to sell, and an insurance form listing F&E as a certificate holder. These documents help protect your business and must be submitted annually. 

REQUIRED \ PERMITS

Any business selling food and/or beverages in Minnesota are required to carry a permit to legally do so. Farmers are not required to hold a permit to sell in the State of Minnesota. REQUIRED \ INSURANCE

All sellers are required to carry liability insurance. This helps protects you and your business. More information about insurance can be found here. Frank & Ernest Foods, 2036 Highland Parkway, St. Paul, 55116 must be listed as a certificate holder. For a sample form, go here. Please go to your insurance carrier to secure this certificate. 

 

REQUIRED \ MINNESOTA SALES TAX FORM

All sellers are required to upload a Minnesota ST-19 Tax Form. That form can be found here. Please list Frank & Ernest Foods as the operator of the event. A business ID is not required to submit this form. 

APPLICATION FEE

This fee is not reimbursable in most cases. If you have questions, please read through our FAQs pages or contact us. 

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER YOU APPLY

1. Your documents and descriptions will be required for accuracy and applicability for inclusion into our membership.

2. Applicants may be asked to submit samples of their products. 

3. If approved, you'll be invited to become an F&E Member, and participate in our online promotion.
